Personal information that this website collects and why we collect it
This website uses personal information only to enable registered users to sign in and access the course materials for which they have paid. We do not use it to e-mail registered users and will never share it with any third party.
The personal data submitted on application forms are sent by e-mail to the Wisdom Centre, whose mailer services are supplied by the third party provider Google Mail. No data from these applications is stored on the Wisdom web site. The personal information in these e-mails is used to assess suitability of applicants four our courses, and is used to e-mail applicants details of the registration process; to offer places on courses; and to communicate their log in details once registered.
Once you have applied for membership, we will register the new user’s name, title and e-mail address in the Wisdom Centre user database. This is used to enable our users to log in to the site and access course materials.
How we store your personal information
Your registration details are stored on this website, which is hosted by Netcetera, one of the UK’s leading web hosting companies. We used WordPress to build the site, and we use the Simple WP Membership plugin to manage the registration process.
We will report any unlawful data breach of this website’s database or the database(s) of any of our third party data processors to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
To see the information we hold on you, or if you would like your registration data to be deleted from the site, please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
